Need to change mine as it has done 30K and as per other post car is not running well. However I have heard that once changed I should not keep cranking the engine to prime it, I should prime it first. Any suggestions as to how. I have a large 50 ml syringe, but that's about all for 'sucking'

Fill the filter with diesel using the syringe.

You can syphon it outta the tank, or put
a few litres in a can at the pumps, its
very good for cleaning engine parts.

    Regards
    Jim

Turn the ignition on, you should hear the fuel pump in the tank running for a few seconds. When it stops, turn the ignition off, then back on until the pump stops again. Repeat half a dozen or so times. This will fill your fuel filter.
