    Hi

I've recently moved to Suffolk (Stowmarket) & am looking for recommendations for a garage who will continue to look after my 93k mile A4 2.5TDi.

    Any suggestions please?

    Cheers!

I also live in Suffolk (Woodbridge)
Who did you end up taking it to ?
After recommendations I am taking mine to Audi-specialists.co.uk who are in Burwell, near Newmarket. I have been quoted ~£580 including waterpump, thermostat, tensioners, belts etc which seems about right. Will post review afterwards.

    Thanks a6 jasper,
may give them a look in the future.

Have now had the cam belt replaced by Audi-specialists.co.uk (Burwell)
They are very friendly, the mechanics are Polish, but their English is good. They showed me all the parts which had been replaced, and seemed to be very knowledgable.

Off Subject: Whilst on holiday in Thailand I met a Swedish mechanic, who told me most garages in Sweden employ mechanics from the Baltic states, due to them being just as well trained and they repair parts not just replace them, due to years of not being able to get the genuine parts. I expect it is the same for the Poles.

    Back to Audi-specialists.co.uk.
The full price for the cam belt, water pump, thermostat, all new belts, rollers etc came to ~£760, a bit more than the quote of £580 (+vat)
but a lot less than Audi Ipswich.

    Thanks again.

This is probably old now but I would recommend CATS garage in Ipswich to help you out. I take all my cars to them now, receptionist can be a pain in the butt (that might just be me though. lol) But the lads are spot on!

Hi, I would recommend Quattro-Tech in st ives in Cambridgeshire, they have done some work on my audi a4 and cannot speak highly enough of them
they only charge £49 per hour half price of the main dealers and they only specialise in audi.
