    Default imobiliser headache – 01-02-2011,08:11 PM
    Is it possible to disable the imobiliser on my 1998 b5 passat
    Every now and again my little key light stays on for a few key turns then finaly goes out.
    I`ve had the ignition coil changed by VW. to no avail.

    I'd be surprised if you could by-pass the immobiliser, you
    might need a new transponder chip.
