couple problems

hi all
i just got my self a vw bora 1.9 tdi 130 ( ASZ ) engine on 52 plate. i have check all round car as you do i have changed pollen filter and air filter its all ready had fuel filter done and oil change. but i have just noticed today first time had it on motorway when accelarate there is a sound like wind blowing from under bonet is this normal?????????????????. and when cruising at about 65 to 70 there is smoke coming from my exhaust it dose not do this wen driving at 30 to 40?????????? and i did notice to that my temperatue gauge droped to bottom and back to half way again it did this a couple of times??????????? im new to this and still reading and learning

I think one of the tubo hoses is defect
