    Default oil cooler replacement – 23-01-2011,10:32 PM
    hi, is the oil cooler on the 1.9tdi 130bhp awx engine the same as the 2.0tdi engines oil cooler ? they look identical.
    the cooler on my car has 2 pipes that face upwards, on the oil coolers that 2 motor factors and euro car parts have being trying to give me as a replacement has the 2 pipes that are situated sideways and would not fit my car.
    the only oil coolers i have seen advertised that look identical to mine are listed for the vag 2.0tdi engines !
    can someone help ???

    There are two different designs. You need the one with the pipes that matches yours. Your engine uses the more common one found on 1.9 and 2.0 diesels.

    it looks identical to mine, do you think it will fit ?

    It should fit as it fits most 1.9 and 2.0 pd tdi's.
