hey all. this is just a quick example of how dub love polishes his ride.
first i use meguires nxt generation car wash. and shammy afterwards. the results are great,, tesco wheel cleaner as its only acid. (there all the same) and as for the nxt gen, i use two small full caps in a large bucket and its the foamiest wash ive ever had.

then i will go on to use the meguires scatch X to remove fine scratches and tar deposits. sometimes it does require a few attempts and a bit of elbow grease.

now comes the turlte wax. i have used many differant types of wax+polish and find this one superb.. i use a cotton cloth to apply the wax to the car. and rub in untill the haze has gone. then i will take out a polishing cloth and rub again until a high shine is obtained. i sometimes run the tops of my fingers over the paintwork to feel the smooth gliding effect.

as you can see the finished effect is superb. reflection's are great.
i have small stone chips all over the front of my car. its such a dissapointment when you can see them all just after a polish like this. also i have 3 dents one in o/s rear door n/s front wing and on my bonnet. these occured after leaving my car in carpark. again such a dissapointment when people like me look after things so well. you wake up to find some little scrots have done this to your pride and joy.

    thanks for the read.

see you all at the vw fest.

    Looks good.

I use Jewel Ultra Diamond brite. Have done for about 10 years. It kept my B5 laser red A4 gleaming.

I use autoglym conditioning wash for the usual clean, and Meguires Gold wax for the polishes. The Autoglym wash is amazing stuff, and really gives the car a shine when used and then chamoied dry. It also keeps the car cleaner looking for a lot longer as it has some kind of repellent stuff in it.

Just seen J7USS bodykit, thats a great looking kit, can anyone tell me what it is and where I could get some info on it.

Will post some pics of mine at some point, its a mish mash of different ones at the mo, but love the kit on J7USS.

    Thanks guys

On the polishing subject, if I loved the car a bit more, might polish it a bit more.
