Changing Coolant Temp Sender ussualy helps...check if the temp gauge works, if it doesnt, its deffinatelly the CTS. If its not that, maybe low compression between the cylinders.

    Hi Guys

Sorry but any idea where the engine tempature sender is and a 115PD TDI engine. Is it the sensor mounted in the top hose at the back of the engine?

    Regards Simon

hi the only green or blue sensor i can find is mounted on the right hand lower hose to the radiator!! . the sensor on the top hose is black and screw mounted plug that plugs in is purple inside but i guess this is the water seal.
part number on top sensor is Bosch 0281 002177/038 906 051.

    thanks simon
