I've just bought an A4 2.8 Quattro year 2000 model and want to change the std 16" alloys for something a little larger. Do you know what offset and PCD I should be shopping for? I've read on another post that new TT wheels wont fit, are there any sportier Audi's that alloys will go straight on? RS4, RS6 or RS8? If these will go straight on, would any year or do i need to look for alloys from a certain model?

    Many thanks in advance

this forums a bit slooow !

    I believe - TT wont fit at all, but A4 & A6 will - so RS4's & RS6's will, I dont know about A8's

    I think its 45mm offset.

Hope this helps & isnt 6 mths too late !

Ok you wil need 5x112 PCD with a Et35 offset but you have margins here.

The RS4 wheels will not fit as they have a ET20 offset but the S4 rims will although you may need a spacer if you go with S4 b6 rims as I think they are ET45.

    This may help you.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the "what offset are my wheels" threads, I think it's time we get something in the FAQ on this topic. Please constrain all offset/stock wheel questions to this thread so that we can have one source of info that will help the next person to come along with the question.

    Offset questions:

Stock offset varies depending on the wheel you are talking about. So, depending on which wheel you have the answer will be different... please post the type of wheel you have (or think you have) if you want to know what offset you have.

.... and no, et35 is not usually the answer.

    Wheel questions:

If you have any other question about stock* wheels please post as much info as you know. Keep in mind that a year or other detail might be necessary for us to fully help you.

*"Stock" wheels includes stock wheels from other Audi/VW years/models.

    Wheels for a4s are 5x112.
TT/most vw wheels are 5x100, they will not fit.

    Offset Calculator:

Just handy to have around as you try to fit aftermarket rims, or want to know your stance with various stock rims, so I've included this:
