    Default Windscreen chip – 12-01-2011,05:33 PM
    Hi all
    I had a stone chip on my windscreen today it is about 5-6mm diameter.
    Has anyone tried any "chip repair kit" if yes please can you recommend me one please?
    It wasn`t a big stone at all

    Try Autoglass or similar via your insurance company, it's usually free.
    Nothing to see here, move along..

    My car is not on UK plate and the insurance is abroad. I need atleast to go back oversea

    When I had mine done by Autoglass they gave me a little sticker kit, basically a clear round sticker to stick over the chip until I could get it fixed.

    Did you stick that sticker after the repair?
    I ordered one kit from ebay will see how it works Thanks guys
