    Hi,

I'm currently ofshore and can't remember where I left the manual at home for my 2007 Q7 S-line.

Wife has just phoned asking where to connect for jump starting.

Could anyone post a pic or the relevant page from the manual?

    Gaz

Edit : Better still here's a pic of my engine bay. Which of the 3 items pointed too is the negative connection?

The horizontal terminal on the right - not the vertical things left and centre. positive terminal under red cover, as your wife probably has worked out!

    Cheers, Andy

Love the right hand double pointing action lol ! You can put the negative jump lead anywhere on your engine or body that is metal, even the exhaust or engine mounting. It all traces back to the negative terminal on the battery. I wouldnt recomend the air con pipe which I think one of your pointing fingers are heading towards

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk as I cant be ***** turning on my laptop !

    Thanks guys.

Thought it was but wanted to be sure.

Engine mountings etc not so accessable with the plastic engine shroud in place and I didn't want to confuse my poor wife.

It'll probaby be left for me when I get home.

Thanks again at least she can give it a go if she feels up to it.

The two fingered signal embedded in the photo was probably a subtle dig at me, lol. How dare I allow my car to develop a fault.

    Gaz
