did you do the grill Tom or is that standard on SEL models?

I've done the top part of mine chrome, but the badge looks different aswell? Also like the smoked lights, did you do that or is they original's?

Very nice though, that steering wheel looks perfect in there.

Also rear tints/lowered suspension/ rain sensitive wipers anything else dsg4me? Apart from the sport is better

Higher spec Apart from sport seats trimmed in half leather and cruise control thats it. Or is it?

Mine's a sport, and it has tints, 'low' suspension, rain sensitive wipers.
I'm sure I'm missing something from what the SE has.

170bhp, Chrome grill, half leather/suede heated sports seats, straight zorsts, cruise, auto lights/wipers, electric seats, leather door cards, aluminium effect dash, can't think anymore! They are better though

Are all SEL's 170? I will stick with my 140 with no dpf
My drivers seat is part electric. Are both your front seats electric?

As for the dash I kinda like mine with the alu look on the centre and the carbon look on the outer.

Is yours a cr unit Tbc? Or has it been through the mildly pimp my ride with all the cr badges

    Auto dimming rear view mirror.

So yeah, thats one of the reasons I took the SEL over the Sport.

Tinted Windows, Fogs & Lower by1.5cm wasn't much of a loss considering the half leather heated seats and other small extra's.

The comments regarding DPF are a funny one... it's all down to the cars use. If the car is sitting in traffic frequently and isn't getting a good run then it's going to be a problem unless it's removed... for me about 70% of my travel is sitting on the Motorway or A-Road's about 60MPH so I don't see the DPF being an issue.

Auto dimming rear view mirror is on my sport. But not sure if that is standard.

I have an ex dealer demo with extras. Dynaudio/full mfd and steering controls/ Paddle shift. Auto hold. Auto lights/rain sensor wipers. Le Mans alloys. The only thing I wish it had was cruise control.

As for lowered its 40mm .

Not a fan of Dpf's even if you do motorway miles it will still need topping up with fluid & Possibly fail. My friend had a peugeot 407 with a dpf and he covered nearly 200k of motorway miles. The dpf would not regenerate fluid was added and the dpf needed replacing £1000. So I disagree the dpf is an issue when it fails

I think yours is a higher spec... the Sport I looked at didn't have auto wipers/lights, auto dimming mirrors or steering wheel controls.

With regards to the Peugeot... french ***** comes to mind. My uncle bought a 2.0 TDI 170 Seat Leon FR brand new in 2007 and my aunt uses it to this day and has never faced an issue with the DPF.

The two points of failure with my car that people would say are likely to happen are the injectors or the DPF and I'm feeling confident both will be fine... hell on some forums if anyone with a 2.0 TDI says they have anything wrong with the car people are all over it claiming it to be injector issues.

Anyways, it looks like you got a good spec model with plenty bang for buck which can't be a bad thing.

When I purchased mine nearly a year ago a late 55 reg with low miles. Its a pearl black 2.0 tdi Sport with dsg with the so called dreaded injector issue and steering module failure.

Its been a 100% reliable . And as for the spec I did not realise apart from the hifi upgrade. Almost everthing you would think is standard is an extra. I think my car has around 5k of extras .
