    Default Gearbox Code (Type) Help Needed – 29-12-2010,09:07 PM
    Hi, i have a 2005 A6 3.0 V6 TDI Auto with the paddles (i presume Tiptronic), The engine code is BMK but i dont know the transmition type, the options are

    GZW - 09LB
    HKG - 09LB
    HRJ - 09LB
    HXN - 09LB
    HYP - 09LB
    HZR - 09LA

    I need this to access the required information, any help appreciated.
    Now I have - 2014 Audi A6 3.0 TDI V6 Quattro S-Line (Silver)
    Previously 2012 Audi A8L 3.0 TDI Quattro SE Executive (Silver)
    2012 Audi A5 2.0 TDI S Line (White), and 2006 Audi A6 3.0 TDI V6 Quattro S Line (Black)
    Have VCDS 17+ (VAG-COM Diagnostic System) with HEX-USB+CAN Interface & old style interfaces.

    Thanks A8 Tech, i was looking everywhere (but not there LOL).
