As title really, I have a weird vomity smell constantly coming through the car. It's not strong but it's strong enough to be noticeable.

Aircon was serviced/cleaned 3k miles ago and engine service was 2k ago. Had a look around the engine bay and cant see anything unusual.

    Thanks

A minor oil leak from the engine could be a reason, with the bonnet up and the engine running can you smell anything unusual in the engine bay

Didn't smell anything unusual under the bonnet but I may be missing something crucial.

And fortunately no! Haha. Car was parked up from Christmas Eve morning to yesterday afternoon and it's been in the garage.

    Thanks

    as above, with "bakili",
    wet/moist carpets.
my bora was stinking after 5weeks+ of snow.
carpets wet, soaked even, you can't avoid it, snow comes in on your feet,
the brush we have in the back passenger footwell to take the fresh fallen snow off the car, stinks,
but we can't put it in the boot as it freezes up, and we can't open the boot.
just dry the carpets indoors/ spray the car with frebeeze, and hang allsorts of airfresheners in it!
trust me, it will smell so,so much better, come the three days of summer we have in july.
    regards,
    stewy.

it could very well be condensation build up on the heater matrixs that gives off a smell just like sick, due to the car being parked up in a garage it is poss the moisture has started to grow into a bacteria of some sort, if it was me id leave the engine running with the heater on and the windows down a little and see if that helps get rid of the smell

The car was fully valeted the day before Christmas eve and as I said, parked up over the weekend.

I think the pollen filter was changed at the 48k service? Maybe they forgot to change it? No wet carpets nor any dodgy looking seals.

The aircon was only serviced not so long ago by Audi so all the pipes wouldve been cleaned. This was only carried out because the Aircon was giving out an eggy smell when started.

The smell is only present when the car is first started, hot and cold. It wouldn't be a damp kinda smell but a much worse one.

Ahh thats the problem, its not uncommon for a car to have a little smell after its have a full valet, must be to do with the products used, and as its been parked up for a few days its worse than normal, im sure it will go away after a little use

Valeted as in thoroughly cleaned out by myself lol. Some dashboard cleaner, deep Hoover and some leather cleaner on the seats is all I used. I'll Try keeping the window open over the next few days while driving to see if it makes any difference.

    Thanks again
