2.5 Tdi 180 Avant Quattro Sport

Hi,
Just recently got this car 2.5 Tdi 180 Avant Quattro Sport having upgraded from a Golf GT Tdi 130. I am very impressed with the car and especially the way it handles, but theres just a couple of things i'm not sure of :

1, is 37mpg normal
2, 0-60 in 8.3 secs ???? seems a bit optimistic, Golf felt quicker.

Just to emphasize that I am not trying to slate this car, far from it, I am very happy with it, the sound of that V6 is ace & the midrange to upper rev range it really does seem to come on song.

Just wondered what your opinions where.

I've got the same car and get the same figures, golf feels quicker cos its lighter. When i look down I find I'm going faster than it actually feels. Car is deceptively fast, especially in the mid range. Just remapped to 215Bhp and have been assured it'll increase mpg by 3-4 mpg.

Ive got the same car, not an avant though, I am getting same figures, Which is what I expected to get when I bought it!

Keen to know the resultant MPG after your re-map, I am not bothered about more speed from my car, but would like to see more MPG as I am doing a lot of miles more now, than when I bought it

I'll post in a week or so after i've done a bit of consistent driving regards the mpg.
