Have any of you had OEM mud flaps fitted to your Avant's...?

I've just taken delivery of an S-Line and the main dealer in York advised me not to bother as it spoiled the appearance. (surprised actually, thought they'd just say 'yes' and take the cash..!)

I must confess, I don't seem to see any with mud flaps on the road so I'd welcome your unbiased views on this matter!!!!

Photographic evidence will also be considered...!!

    Cheers

Audi say they don't fit the S-line or S4....but they do.

THe fronts look ok but the backs are very poor. I've not bothered.

I too considered them for my Avant to prevent stone chips etc from the crappy Scottish roads.

However, popped into the dealer and saw some fitted to cars on the forecourt and decided against them. I don't really know what it is, but they look very "aftermarket" and non-oem, if that makes sense??

That said, each to their own.

I have them on my SE,

but for better chip protection I am going to fit some stoneguards that run the full length of the sills.
