    Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, a friend has a 55 plate VW Passat Sport Saloon with a RCD300 CD Multichanger. The problem is it won't play any discs.

The error on the head unit shows "NO CDC", the multichanger accepts the discs and the light briefly shows green to show the disc is accepted but nothing will play.

That's all the info I have at the moment, if anyone has any ideas or you need anymore info please let me know and I'll ask.

    Many thanks,

    Nick.

I took this video on my phone, it does the same with both original cd's and cdr's.

It doesn't flash green like I was originally told so my guess is it's the cd changer at fault.

at first i thought it was a wiring fault, as in the lead wasnt connected properly but seeing that i would say its a fault with the changer, will it play the cd if its put in the headunit?

ok thats good, first thing id do is remove the headunit and check the changer quadlock is connected to the headunit properly, if it is then it sounds verymuch like a faulty changer, if you know anyone with VCDS they can do a scan and fine what fault code for the changer is coming up
