advice needed please

hi all im putting a 2000 Audi s3 engine in the back of my lotus exige, not having had much experience with audi engines im just after some advive on power upgrades and gear boxes,

i will have to put a 1.8 golf turbo gear box on to the engine to make it two wheel drive (correct if iam wrong ) i have been told these will bolt straight up to the engine.....

i have fished about for power upgrades and you can re map the s3 engine up to around 300 bhp with out and hassel ?? again this is only things i have been told ( by the people selling them haha )

so what would be the best way to achive a 300bhp motor with a two wheel drive box and LSD

which gear boxes can i use ??

what LSDs and final drives are available to suit the gear boxes ??

and advive much apriciated

hi mate ive been told by my audi specialist garage that i can take mine to around 280 with exhaust remap and induction kit, not sure about the rest

The S3 engine has pretty strong internals and can easily go to the 280bhp mark with exhaust/induction and re-map, any more than that and it first needs a larger or hybrid turbo fitted to the standard manifold or if you want even more power a larger turbo with matching uprated manifold. Don’t forget to upgrade the intercooler and run it on 99 fuel!!
