air box is behind right headlamp, if you stand facing front of you car, its on left side. You will see 2 screws near bonnet locking mechanism, undo them to remove front bit of air box, which connects to the grill. It should be few clips in the middle of air box, just unclip them to remove top bit of air box. you will see round air filter inside.

This should get you started on the pollen filter http://tech.bentleypublishers.com/se...n%20Filter.pdf. On a RHD drive car the access is from the driver's footwell so you can ignore all the stuff about removing the glovebox. You simply remove the flap to the left of the clutch pedal and then pull out the first filter, then reach up and pull down the second filter and pull it out. Replacement is the reverse of removal, when I did it the major challenge was pushing the upper filter up high enough so I could fit the second filter. Take your time and it can be done. I used filter's from Eurocarparts and they were cheaper than Audi and as far as could see in comparing them with the ones I removed no different, except of course the disgusting state of the old ones. They also had fitting instructions in the box. Worth having a hoover to hand to vacuum out all the rubbish before fitting the new filters. Also note that the filters only work one way round so make sure the air flow arrows on the new ones point in the same direction as the old one
