I too am looking at having "cruise" retro fitted to my A4 2.0L TDI SE. The car is a 2008 July model.

Have become a little confused regarding price as my local dealer quoted £408 and a dealer a few miles away quoted £281.
The difference seems to be to do with a "slip ring" that is either required or not and my local dealer is supposed to be looking into this ( basically they don't want to lose me as a customer)

Hopefully I'll get a response soon, I can then post back with the findings.

Eventually got a proper price for this job. £304.98, which includes 1 hour labour

Didn't think this was too bad.

The Feb 2010 brochure says cruise is included if :

"*Valid for new vehicle orders placed up to and including 30 June 2010 and delivered on or after 1 March 2010."
MY2010 A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI quattro S-line Exec - Aruba Blue, 19" alloys, Full Leather, B & O, 3G Tech Pack, Adaptive Lights, Dynamic Susp, Folding Mirrors, Power tailgate, Storage/Light Packs, Parking Plus, Heated Seats, Rear Blinds, Load Rails, Privacy Glass, Rear Airbags, TPMS, Load Liner

    Gone : 09 A4 Avant, B6 S4, TT, Golf GTi...and the rest are embarassing!
