Thank the mods / Admin

Hey all, I'd just like to say a big thank you to the mods and the Admin on the site who take the time and trouble to keep this place running as smoothly as it does.

I'm an Admin on another forum myself and know the amount of man hours of free time put into keeping the place free of spammers, and keeping any trouble makers in check, as well as dealing with vendors, and trying to promote the site.
Its definitely one of the best and friendliest forums around, with some great members ( especially in the A6 - C6 section ) top Techs who help out......loads of excellent info as well as plenty of laughs to be had too. I've been around for nearly 2 years and really enjoy my time here and have found it a very useful place to be part of.

I second that. It's a great site, and it's due to the dedication of the Admins, Mods and regular technical posters. I won't try to name them, as I'll miss someone out and risk offending them.

It is indeed a fantastic site. I too would like to say a thankyou to all the admins and moderators on this site who use up their own free time to keep the place in check.

The advice and tips I've received on here by the moderators and other forum members has been brilliant.

I'd like to voice my thanks to the Site Admin, Moderators and regulars too. This is an outstanding forum both in terms of the great technical advice and the camaraderie, and I rarely if ever see spam posts. I moderate a work-related forum, and have huge problems with determined spammers so I have an appreciation of the work involved in keeping this site clean, and I'm mightily impressed with the job our moderators do.

Thanks guys - we really appreciate your hard work!

Snap MF - I am Admin on another site an its a daily battle with the spammers and to keep the site free and clean for all to use.

Its a statement of the times we live in unfortunately though that there's been 130 views of this thread and only 6 members have dropped by and bothered to read this, then appreciate enough to actually post. Pretty poor viewing on such a topic IMO and only a few die heard members responding.......we take things wayyy too much for granted these days.

How about we have a whip round for the guys.....a fiver each vai Paypal to send them off for a few weeks at Christmas
Thats how I'm getting away for 2 weeks this year in Las Vegas courtesey of my members ( I wish!! )

That said, keep your entries coming I can't tell you how worthy the 1st prize is of the little work needed - I'm actually gutted I can't win it myself!

I'd like to add my thanks also, not least as I am a fairly new member. Not only have I already saved a fortune thanks to the knowledge and help available, I have also been made to feel welcome to post here even about non VW related things. The fact that we can all do so without being showered in spam, or without the fear of viruses is testament to the mods and the site admin.
