    Hi guys just asking for a bit of advice im about to replace the front right abs sensor on my 2000 passat (1.9 tdi afn engine),but the wiring is looking a bit tricky ,i can get the sensor out but where does the connection go to that goes up the inner wing and into the bulkhead underneath a big black box do i need to remove this box so i can connect the new sensor or does it connect somewhere else,thanks for any help.

    there should be a plug, if its not on the sensor, follow the wire as you have done until you find it, i may be wrong but i thought the plug as on the sensor itself mate

    i thanks for that but there is a plug on the lead that goes to the brake caliper and the abs sensor does not have a plug on the end it is hard wired to the sensor with a lead on it about 700mm long which has a plug on the end that goes goes up into the bulk head,thanks
