    Hey any help welcome . I have an audi A4 B6 Soft-top As normal it has the split air-con , now heres the problem. I thought the other day I would uses the heated seats for the first time in a while and suddenly the right heated side ( suddenly started pumping out cold air, ive tried every combination or the air-con heaters etc . but with no luck with the heat on the right side , any ideas

    hi mate, id try a fault code read, it may also be worth checking all the fuse's, the fault code read will help point you in the right direction mate

    one of your flap motors may have jammed or failed
    get a fault code scan
    and search on here for flap motors theres plenty of posts

    ive heard a few people have said about the Flaps . Ill have a look in to that . My car fixing skills are 0% but thanks as at least i can find the fault and then im half way there . cheers mates

    Im sure their is no real link with the heated seat. Its just the heater had worked fine for a bout 3k mile, then i thought i would try my heated seat for the first time and then as i turned the Air heater again on again shortly after it was ice cold on my side. Maybe a link, maybe just chance . Annoying

    Right gotcha,as above it is quite common for the flaps to get sticky. Have you sorted it yet?

    no joy yet . im going to have to take it too my local shop to get it looked at . is there any way i can find out with out having to do major work on my car. my work shop under standing is very low . lol
