    Howdy,

Having a slight problem with my boot door lock..

Previously I was able to open the boot with the keys in the ignition unlock all the doors an open the boot, or even have the car unlocked an open the boot by just using the button on the boot door.. for some reason this has stopped working and now the only way I can open it is with the remote on the key.

At the moment I'm paranoid about not leaving my keys in the boot as I would not be able to access it. Is there another way of opening the boot?

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

you can put the boot lock in different positions.
It can be part of the C locking or used on its own.
Have a look in the handbook.

Well as you and bez101 suggested the key lock position was in the incorrect position, when switched to the correct position. Problem sorted!
    You learn something new everyday.

    Thanks again.

Next to the boot handle on the right hand side is a key hole,
Check the position the slot is in,
    * horizontal is standalone not working with the central locking
    * vertical is tied in with the central locking. (the one you want)

So just turn the key carefully an voila!
