Hi guyz, got another problem with the A8 tdi, went to open the boot lastnite, normally it opens and closes automatically with the touch of a button, but this time it struggled to close and just went back up by it self. Its still not closing properly, so ive just manually pushed it down but its not locked into position. Has anyone had a similiar problem?

you need to adjust the height of the pin that the boot latch locks onto. there are two square plastic covers which pop out and allow access to the two bolts holding the pin, undo them a tad and move the pin up a little...its trial and error to get it just right
make sure the bolts are tight when you are done

Just been trying to lift the pin up a little like u said but it didnt work. It seems like the boot isnt locking into place. The boot goes up and down perfectly. Probably have to go into dealers in morning.
