    Is it a big job to change and will it have caused any damage to engine

    Hi, in short, yes to both answers, was the engine running at high revs, if it was when it broke then the chances are the engine may be not worth the repair, if at tick over when broke you" may" get away with valves and head, but in either case its money, this is why i and others say check the belt before service times and if in any doubt change it,
