Been using a Linksys wireless router since January with my laptop which has only a few times not wanted to work, a quick re-set & all was ok again. However, went out to the car the other night after getting my vag-com cable & whilst I was there made use of someone elses unsecured network to log onto the net as my router was out of range. Naughty I know but i'll repent another day! Ever since then I havent been able to log onto my home network whatever I do, I keep getting "limited or no connectivity" show up. Tried the usual re-set the router options, the network key the laptop is using to access the router is correct....................im a little lost & virging on uninstalling the router & re-installing from scratch. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

have you tried removing the unsecured network form your list of available wireless networks. Also try going into network connections, properties, LAN settings and ensuring that it is set to obtain network ip automatcally. Try entering the network key in again

follow this if unsure. open network connections. right click over wireless connection, click properties. scroll down to tcp/ip and click once. then properties. select obtain ip automatically. ok. then wirelessnetwork tab and remove the network you "borrowed" should be ok!!

Yeah, i've removed all other networks from the prefered networks list apart from my network & its set to automatic, and i've manually re-entered the key code. Anything else I can try?
