B6 Estate, I am trying to remove the light fitting in the rear luggage space.

I can slide it towards the off side by several mm, but still can't remove it for a lamp change.

Looks to be jammed in the roof lining.

Is there a correct method to this?

    Regards.

There is a small metal clip along one of the short sides of the light fixing. You need to jam a small flat head screw driver between the light and roof lining. This will push the clip in and remove the light.
