    Hi,

I have a 2003 A4 cab and the rear drivers side window has stopped going all the way down, it now stops about 1/3 of the way up. Has anyone else had this prob or know what might cause it?

    Cheers.

Do you have a groaning noise coming from the motor if you hold the switch down? If so there's probably something blocking the window in the slider track, means taking the side panel off the car to check but worth while if you've just got some muck or a twig jamming things.

I haven't heard a groaning noise coming from it, it seems to stop in exactly the same place every time as if it's meant to stop there but I'm sure it went all the way down when I bought it.

I don't fancy taking the side panel off myself as it will all end in tears! I expect that will cost a bit at a dealer too.

The panels gotta come off else you'll never know. If your not happy doing it yourself then only option is the dealer, and that'll set you back a 3 figure sum for them to just look into what the problem is, and then another 3 figure sum to fix what they find!
