Greetings fellow Audi owners.

I'm having my first Audi-related issues now, typical timing, 2 days before a roadtrip.

My Blackberry was attempting to connect with my Audi MMI as usual when getting in the car, it went on trying for að couple of seconds and then it stopped, and the MMI displayed "Telephone unavailable".

Now every 2-3 seconds or so when I have the MMI turned on (doesn't matter radio/CD player/info/Nav), I get this crackling sound from the speakers. It´s not always the same, sometimes it's quite loud and sometimes I can barely hear it.

Even when I turn off the MMI or even turn off the car, the crackling sound amplifies again and then slowly volumes down to nothing.

I unhooked the car battery overnight, just to see if this was an computer error I could fix so simply, but no. Now, I cant even change the time in Settings. It won't save the time, after I change it.

My question is, can it be that the bluetooth module itself is broken, and if so, is it combined with the MMI or it is a separate module that can be disconnected for the time being, allowing me to listen to the radio?
