    Can anyone confirm if the pre facelift 99/01 A6 avant has auto leveling headlights.

    You need to decode the option codes from the ID label in the spare wheel bay. Google Vag option codes then enter all the option codes. Regards Peter

    I carn't see that much difference, the lights from the 1998/2001 avant fit into my allroad exactly I just have to find out now how to swop the auto leveling motors because the plugs for those are different. The allroad servo motor has four wires and the pre facelift has only three.

    most levelling motors just turn through 90 degrees and un hook from reflector

    as you said towcestervag, I was being a bit to afraid of breaking them, servo motors are now in place, just the wiring issue now.
