our new (to us) Sharan didn't come with a manual.

If you stop car, take keys out of ignition & wait for a couple of minutes, the doors will lock & alarm sets. No use if you are still in it.

If i leave kids in car whilst stopping in a shop, & dont want to leave the keys in, what to do ?

    Thanks

    James

1/4 of an inch was enough to get my fingers in and force the winder down another inch then insert a fishing rod to hook out the keys ,
that failed when the keys then dropped to the floor
butthe rod was then employed to push/pull the window winder up/down, aftertrying and failing to pull open the opposite door handle,
untill the window was 1/2 open , enough to insert a retriever - (youngest son)
i usually give the kids grief for leaving windows open but this time he saved the day
