I've been having the Glowplug warning (check engine) lamp flashing on occasions so went & had the codes read today. There are no symptoms of any problem with the vehicle, just that annoying lamp flashing away.
    Codes came up as:
    P1562
    P1570
Looking on the net these come up as:
P1562 Quantity adjuster upper stop value
P1570 Cruise control system traction control active (on one site)
P1570 Control module locked (on another site)
Anyone any idea as to what this means? What is the "Quantity adjuster"?
AFAIK I don't have traction control either?

P1570 is an immobiliser fault code. Clear it and it probably won't come back.
P1562 Quantity adjuster upper stop value is probably putting the glow plug light on. The quantity adjuster sets the amount of fuel to be delivered by the injection pump depending on signals from the ECU. A lot of things can cause this code. including
    Dirty fuel filters
    Water in fuel
    Failing fuel pump.
Damaged wires between the injection pump and the ecu.
or the injection pump could be starting to fail.
