after 170k miles of motoring the feul pump has finally packed up, as certified by AA. The car has been regularly serviced at great expense, though at the last i decided would not be visiting Audi service garages no more. A neighbour suggested fitting myself, and pointed out that the fuel pump should be under the rear seat. Is this correct? if so ant tips on how to approach this/ and the part required. I have been quoted for electric pump £200 as opposed to £600 from Audi, but need to check that Siemens pump is ok. Anyone
Also where can i find a manual for this vehicle (i have not seen Haines type - is there another)?
