Hi there I need some help guys.
    I have a 2000/2001 1.9 115bhp diesel Mk4 GT.
It has done now 155k miles and has run like a dream since I bought it a few months ago.
It started to stop sometimes with no reason, it got that it would stop more often and latterly even a short journey was a chance.
The car would and could run great and suddenly stop and show the message "visit workshop". It took a lot of cranking over again to get it started and would run again for a bit then repeat
I had it in the garage, non \vw but a good all round garage and had the codes checked and got something like "incorrecr calibration at injection" or similar but no numbers.
The garage said it was down to the injector pump.
I had the pump removed and sent away to Diesel Bob for an overhaul.
He said he could not find anything major to cause this and I had him re-build the pump and replace the electronics in it as he said there was a resistance slightly out of calibration. The pump came back and was fitted and when I went to pick up the car it again topk a bit of winding to get it going and again without even moving I again got the message "visit garage".

ps I have on of the tuning boxes fitted to the pump electrical connection to give a bit extra power and at present it is switched OFF as there is a switch on the power or tuning box for switching on and off and an adjuster for a greater or lesser increase.

    Any pointers or ideas please.

    Regards.

    Thanks in advance
