    Hi All,

I have a 3.0 tdi 233ps avant that I want to get remapped,

I would like to hear from people who have had theor 3.0tdi's rempapped and who they used.

I am based in South London and ideally dont want to travel far or better still someone come out to me.

The car is out of warranty so I'm not particulary worried about being able to upload/remove the map myself unless there are other benefits (these solutions are slightly more expensive)

    Thanks in advance.

Also, I have seen companies like 'Angel Tuning' suggesting a remap with a performance panel filter like K&N or ITG etc.

Are there any noticebale gains by doing this without chaging the exhaust aswell?

I dropped you a mail with a good offer, as I am based in South London. Please get in touch when you get the mail.

    Cheers

Hi mate, i had my 2.7 tdi remapped from Angel Tuning along with a panel filter and I am very impressed. Increased power and economy, more drivable, pulls hard in every gear. Think I paid 270 notes.

Speak to Nigel, nice guy and knows his stuff. He will come to you also to save you a trip.

Any idea's how these would work with an auto box? Would it be worth it?

Autobox's are not a problem on any vehicle when remapping.

The last auto 3.0 tdi we did got an extra 45 bhp and an additional 10 mpg.

Just to let you know we are currently running a special offer where all remaps pre 2009 are only £200 and if two cars are done at the same time then they will be buy one get one half price. This offer is running until the 23 December 2010.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Chris

Figured auto boxes weren't a problem and could be done but is there much point? I say this because the 'box has so much "control" over the power unless you're in tip mode or sport mode you don't get the full power anyway (unless, i think, you absolutely floor it, when the computer thinks about it for 10 seconds and then gives it the beans).

Had a look at your site, I see you do a 3.0 tdi 204, but think my 2007 avant is a 233? Also you may be a bit far away... I'm Guildford?
