Evening all, can anyone tell me what this part number this is for, and what car(s) it fits. Number is 8E0 941 531 D. I understand that 8E0 is B6 A4, but sometimes the last letter can change it.

    Any replies would be great

    Thanks

Sorry, there are, I missed that off

    8E0941531 5PR - soul (black)

There are also other versions of the same part number which carry the same descriptions as above.

    8E0941531A, 8E0941531A 5PR, 8E0941531B, 8E0941531B 5PR

This is all from vagcat.com so take it with a pinch of salt and double check before paying for anything.

...and if it helps, my rough understanding of part numbers is below, hopefully someone, (Crasher?) will correct me if I'm wrong.

    8E 0 941 531 5PR

    Digits 1 and 2 are the model - 8E - Audi A4
3 shows the drive side (0 is universal, 1 is left, 2 is right) - 0 - universal
4, 5 and 6 are group and subgroup of parts - 941 - 9 is electrical, 41 is the subgroup within electrical
    7, 8 and 9 are just random numbers - 531
10 is the revision number - later the letter, the newer the revision. If it's an X (I think) it means it's a rebuilt part
    11, 12 and 13 are colour codes - 5PR

Thanks very much! I'm gathering parts for auto headlights/auto dimming/coming home etc.... The part number I need ends with B, but this one I have seen ends in D. It all looks good so I think I'll give it a go and see if it works!

If not, I suppose I can sell it on!
