    hi everyone my car is a a4 b7 s-line saloon 56 plate and i want to convert it to double din so bought a double din stero. just went to fit a different stero to the car 8e0 185 kk audi concert eu b7 double din and the connection's are different to the ones on the original stero 8e0 035 186 aa, audi concert single din .
    is there anyway around this problem as the whole wkend has become a disaster trying to go down the double din road .

    replacing a single din to double din.

    I suspect the difference is the connection on the rear iso on the single din quadlock on the double din.

    I.m certain there is a converter lead available.

    I know this is for fitting an RNS-E rather than a DD Concert but you get the idea. This adapter would work with a couple of wiring changes. Kufatec will make the right adapter as well I'd imagine.

    just about to order the adaptor you mentioned and a bit confused as to what tp fill in on the
    what for radiio/nav? side of things it list's
    radio concert 2 ( 1 din )
    navagation rns-d
    radio symphonie
    radio chorus 2 ( 1 din )

    well my single din stero is a concert, and the new double din is also called a concert, with nothiung else on it so dont know which one to go for ???.

    sorry for draging this on but not the best when it comes to the stero side of things .

    The single DIN Concert is "Concert 2" and the DD one is "Concert 2+ (or 3)"

    well the ariel that you recommended has come today, and it fit's perfectly.
    my new double din climate unit also arrived today, and all was well till i try'd it and the rear heated screen button wont stay on unless you keep your finger on it ????. any idea if i could change the button off my old climate unit with the one that has just arrived? should have my power , speaker leads by thursday .

    Yes, you can (carefully) remove the front faceplate from both units and swop them over
