Brakes dont feel that good...

Does anyone know how to bleed the brakes on a Polo 1.4 TDi (2003) And if there is an automatic kit you can buy to do this? Its a 9n model car I believe...

Yes, you can buy kits that bleed brakes for you. Otherwise it's a process of opening the bleed nipple at each corner and having someone press the pedal repeatedly until it firms up. There should be guides for this sort of thing on the internet, and Haynes is pretty good for jobs with brakes as well.

Bear in mind though that brakes shouldn't require regular bleeding. If the brakes have suddenly become noticeably worse, then it's more likely a problem with one of the other parts of the braking system.

EDIT: yes, a 2003 car will be a 9N model.

A Gunson Automatic bleed kit makes life easy. Select and fit the correct size cap to fit the master cylinder. Fill up the reservior bottle that comes in the kit and connect the air line to a spare tyre to pressurise the system. Connect a piece of pipe to the brake nipple on the wheel that you want to bleed (follow the Haynes manual for the sequence) and into a jar, then slacken off the bleed nipple and the brake fluid will flow until you have clean fluid come through and/or all air bubbles have stopped flowing out. Keep an eye of the brake fluid level in the reservior bottle making sure it doesn't run out otherwise you'll introduce air into the system and be back to square one (don't ask me how I know).
Doing it this way it is a one job and its just about possible to do, without removing the wheels.
