Exactly! At £99 it seemed worthwhile. At £150 seems a bit excessive. Always worth seeing what they can do however - just got a clutch done for my 1.9tdi quattro for under £600 after a bit of negotiation!

Once the car was in and stripped down they tried the DM Flywheel gag. However by the time I called back they had managed to get some 'spring' back into it and reassembled.... as if by magic... that was one call worth missing!

£150 for oil and filter is a bit excessive.
I wont be going to them for my interim service, not for that price.

Any idea if the gear box service has gone up as well?

Not sure - as not listed on their usual fixed price jobs or website - best to check in with dealer.
    Cheers

So it'll be about this time next year when a memo comes back through taking it down by £50 as everyone has spoken with their feet. This is just them covering the cost of the free MOT for the most part on the servicing price hikes.

FWIW - the "Major Service" was cheaper if you got it by doing the Interim service plus paying for each of the parts individually when it went from £199 to £249 - I've been doing the interim plus pollen filter every time. Now I'll probably do the interim and do the pollen myself
