About how many miles will one of these cars comfortably do?

I was just wondering how many miles these engines, ADP, can do before any significant failings.

My car has a little over 134000 miles, had full service history until 103,000 miles, in the 5 years since has done 31000. But seems to have been somewhat neglected in the past year. Barely a scrap of rust on it and the engine looks immaculate.

In the service log i cannot see anything about having had the timing belt changed, but i had a look at it and it looked almost new to me, no cracks frying or anyhting. The auxiliary belts look worn and ready to be replaced. Other than that can't really see anyhting wrong with it. Might be an oil leak coming out of the camshaft cover. Not sure.

Depends on servicing and driving style but they can last a long time if looked after, 200k easily. I would suggest new oil and filter every 10k and timing belt, tensioners and water pump every 60k. As it's been a while since the timing belt was done i would get it changed. False economy to skimp on these cars.

I looked into getting the timing belt changed, got a quote from Audi £399!! Not sure what an average garage would charge.

Looked at timing kits on ebay cost about £60. Looked into doing it myself, were it doesn't require any specialist equipment, you do have to go about it in a very logical way; pretty much think it's beyond me.

Looks like it will have a good few miles in it though.
