    Hi,

I have just purchased a Golf Plus gt TDi.

Having had a Landrover Discovery for the last 4 years I had forgot just how quick some cars go. Great!!

I have been trying to get a set of headlight protectors with the continental light converters and have had no joy at all.

Has anyone any idea where I may get some?

    Thanks in advance,

    ErnieH

look at ebay for headlamp protectors, I've bought some off there for my dads treg, the reciept said they were from crewe vw, find the ones you want, they should be the same as the golf5 protectors and ask if the seller can stick the converters on for you. that way you can use one set as many times as you like.

    Hi,

I have found with the help of another newsgroup to find some headlight protectors.

If anyone else is looking they are sold by www.edworthys.co.uk

    Hi all,

Unfortunatelly the supplier I had found for these headlight protectors found that their supplier could not supply for about 2 months.

They did however give me the name of another supplier (Formula 4X4) who can get them and I hope to have them next week.

The part number for the Golf Plus is EGR4827.

    Regards to all,

    ErnieH

    Hi,

Unfortunately the headlight protectors I ordered from Edworthys arrived damaged and they could not get any more for a few months.

They did however give me the name of another company that did them which is Formula4. (Formula4.co.uk)

This was good news as they were also £10 cheaper. THey also come with the continental diverter stick on patches.

    Altogether a success.

    Regards,

    ErnieH
