When I start up there is a damp smell coming from the vents, not sure what the problem is. Just had full service and aircon drained, cleaned and re-charged.
    Any Ideas welcome.
    Cheers Pricey.

Open the bonnet... remove the full plastic tray which is above the battery.. then to the top right hand side (passenger side) you will see a black box.. this is where the pollen filter is..

Just take it out and make sure its dry.. also check around that area for any build up of water... also theres a little drain hose.. ensure its cliped into the pollen filter hose (around the outside.

I would also check the drain hole in the plenum chamber this under the battery, also the drain tube for the heater box this located somewhere on the bulkhead..

its always worth a look around that area as its common for water to collate....

One thing to check.. lift the passenger mat and make sure its dry under the mat..

Oh, and make sure you've had a shower..................Just kidding!! If its coming through the vents then something in the air system isnt draining properly since they fiddled under your bonnet, check the above suggestions, it wont be in the cabin.

in a mornign, wehn i start my car a blast of water vapour coems out of my windscreen ventand steams it up, but then it only take sa few seconds and it clears it again.

could this be a drainage problem ? i always put it down to air con, its not a problem I just wondered after reading this thread.

No this will just be condensation in the air pipes, totally normal when its humid.
