    need help with this one guys, driving normal the other day then all of a sudden the throttle pedal was like it wasnt there, you could press it all you want and revs wouldnt change. It now idles at 1200 rpm and you cant rev, any ideas ?? it let me drive normally for about 100 metres then did it again so im stumped :s

    did you ever get to the bottom of this one dude?
    my a4 tdi has stood for the last 2-3 months , come to it today and had exactly the same symptoms as yours.
    would appreciate it if you could post a fix.
    i have tried a few things but need a bit of help now.

    possibly faulty throttle potentiometer. Need to put Vagcom on to give any clues...
