As some of you may be aware, I have been gradually accumulating a 2007 S-Line interior for my car.
at first I was just going to do the seats as I found a set on eBay. My interior is Grey and the seats looked Grey on the Auction, when they arrived they were black!!! So I have spent the last month tracking down all the bits I need to turn my grey interior Black.

i now have 95% of the parts and I'm going to start the transformation. I'm having to do this now as the Mrs won't let me spend anymore of the savings on the bits, so I'm stripping it out and going to sell the equivant bits to raise the funds for what I'm missing
this will also help me see exactly what I'm missing!

i am going to keep a diary (With pictures) to show how I done it, and hopefully help anyone else that is thinking of this mod.

i will do all the work over the next few days and take loads of pictures. Once it's done I will do the diary so that it isn't done in dribs and drabs.

    Door Cards.

    Tools Needed.

    Phillips Screwdriver

    Method.

First of all you will need to remove the Door trim insert

Once the insert has been removed you will see 4 phillips Screws
You will need to undo all of these screws. After this there is a screw at the bottom of the door that needs removing.
There is also 2 screws in the door pull (for the drivers door this is hidden behind a small cover).

Once you have removed all the screws you are now ready to remove the pad. It is easier if you undo the window and pull the pad up from the top first, once the top is free you can then pull the pad off of the door. When it is free from the door you will need to disconnect the electrical wires connecting to the Widow Regulator, Speaker and Door Light (if you have them) And also unhook the Door catch lever from the internal door handle. You will then be left with this....

Refitting is the reverse for removal. One word of advice (speaking from experience!!!) don't forget to reconnect the door handle wire!!! Door won't open without it!!! Lol and here is the finished door with new Black Door card (I think the Inserts look so much nicer on the Black Card, i'm going to leave them this colour now!!)

    Rear Seats.

    Tools Needed.

    None.

    Method.

For the Lower bench seat, this just pulls out, move the Seat belts a bit and it just pops out of it's Holders. Check the underneath of the bench as the clips that hold it securely in place normally come out attached to the bracket on the base of the bench seat.

When it comes to the Back rest this is slightly more tricky. You need to lower the Headrests fully, using the Push button on the side of the headrest, push this in and push the headrest down as far as it goes. This then gives you enough clearance on the back window to pull the headrest completely out of it runners. With the headrests removed you need to carefully pull out the plastic runners that the headrest poles locate in.

with these removed pull the top of the seat forward about 6 inches, once it is all clear of the seatbelt guides you then need to lift it up from the bottom so that it lifts out of it's holes.

If removing all of the B & C Pillar trims along with the sill trims this needs to be done before refitting the rear seats.
Refitting is the reverse of removal, There are no real Hints/Tips for this as it is very straight forward and very easy to do.

B Pillar, C Pillar & Carpet Trim Removal.

    Tools Needed.

    None.

    Method.

    (will update with photo's tonight)

This is a very simple Mod, but needs care and attention not to damage the old plastics.

Fist off you need to push the seat back as far as it goes to give you plenty of room.

Once this is done you need to release the top part of the B Pillar trim (part where seat belt adjuster is) do not fully remove, just pull it clear of the lower B Pillar trim.

Once you have the clearance you can now remove the lower B Pillar trim. (this is the tricky part) DO NOT PULL IT TOWARDS YOU!!!! The trim is held in place by a "Tongue & Groove" style holder, the trim needs to be slid/pulled upwards by about 2 inches,(this is why the top part needs to be loosened off fist so that it can slide under it) this will release it from its bracket allowing it to be pulled off.
The C Pillar & footwell carpet trims can now just be pulled off.

(If changing the carpet also, you now need to remove the centre console & front seats before replacing any of the above parts.including rear seats.)

Refitting is the reverse of removal.
