Hi All I have a 2001 A4 diesel quattro (B5 Body ) into which I have fitted an RNS-E satnav entertainment system. All works fine but I cannot get it to switch with the ignition or turn the internal lights on when car lights are on.
I have put in the Canbus connections as per Audi world S4 upgrade but this confused matters furtherand I have resorted to the same wiring as for the Symphony ! that was original fitment.
Anyone experience similar problems or know what i have done wrong.

All sorted thanks to the NSX JR /TeddyBgame instructions. Needed to reboot the RNS, something that was not covered in the Audiworld.com article.

    I need help!!

Can I instal the RNS E to a 1999 B5 audi a4 even if it was built for the 2002 models?

I currently am bidding on ebay, but I want to be certain.

    Hi Cashy
refer to the Teddybgame content on the web he seems to know all.
Quick guide is: if the Clock is digital ,then the can-bus system will talk to the RNS-e .
Remember the closest fit cosmetically for the B5(A4) is out of an A6 up to 2005.

You wont get the clocks to synchronise(Car to RNS-e) but otherwise all functions work fine.
