    hi,

went out to the car after work and proceeded to start car and then switch on lights, the DIS went through its check and highlighted that there was a lamp problem, checked my headlights and both of the xenon's are not working found that the main fuseboard has fuse 20/21 covering dipped main beam but there is no fuses, any ideas ? - surelly both xenon's have not gone @ same time, everything else on headlight is working fine - as always all help appreciated.

    thanks gary....

I have a similar problem with mine, when the engine is running and I switch the lights on the DIS tells me the off side light is out which it is but if I put the ignition on only then turn the lights on then both headlights come on voltage drop maybe??.
Have you tried switching them on with just the ignition on?

the sidelights are fine and i get no warning message but as soon as i go to put headlights on I get the fault - full beam works but no xenon's - surely has to be fuse, they were both working fine this morning

well, it isnt the stalk was able to get a multimeter on fuse 20/21 and i have 12v at them

so is it possible that the two gas discharge lamps have failed at the same time ?

and can they be replaced and how ?

    hello all,

have been a bit of an ar@e here !!!!

If I had taken a proper look at the headlights I would have realised that they were just bog standard halogens !!!

The problem - both dipped beam halogen lamps 12v 55w G7's had went, replaced and all is fine in the world !!!

Thanks to all - and especially Peter D
