Three T-25 screws at the bottom of the glovebox, four at the top (2 are recessed so you have to feel around with the screwdriver). Then it should slide out with a bit of jiggling as you've got to get over a plastic lip where the airbag switch is...

How many screws have you managed to remove?

Once the 7 torx screws are out it might feel jammed. If you look at the bottom you should see a small slot. Stick a thin flat screwdriver in the slot and you will feel it unlatch. Then it pulls out.

    Hi,

I've got past the glovebox stage but trying to get info on removing the fan motor assembly as mine has gone out of balance and vibrates terribly. Is this something you've done perhaps?
    Cheers, Deval

You just twist the motor housing slightly and it falls out. First you need to disconnect the wire connector and if you look up you will see a plastic latch that stops the motor twisting. Once you prise that out of the way the motor will twist (left I think) and fall down.

Phew! I had visions of a nightmare wrestling match looking at how well tucked in all the gubbins is up there. Thanks for your quick response. Joining this forum was the best thing I did this month.
