Evening all, Rear wheel bearing needs doing (a4 quattro 1.9tdi) Had to grind the bottom bolt and spacers off because it wasnt coming out at all and grind the track control arm balljoint in half!!, i think thats what it is, Maybe somebody can confirm, One end bolted to chassis, Other a balljoint on hub towards the rear of the car/hub, That wasnt moving, so i have it off, Whats the process, Is a press a must? Bearing are really bad even at 5mph.!!!

Also, Where will i get a bottom bolt and bushes/spacers.... apart from the dealer?? Why is the word s t ealer censored??!!

    Thanks people..

    HOLY MOLY!!

It must have been like a scene from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" LOL

All those bits and pieces are better got from VAG,..go on force yourself.

The press is a better job, but can be done with pullers/vice.

    Regards
    Jim
