    Evening All

Well I know this is a personnel thing but I would appreciate some your comments on the following combinations:

    Black Edition - Monza Silver + 5 Segment Spoke 19" PQ6.
    Black Edition - Ibis White + 5 Segment Spoke 19" PQ6.
    Black Edition - Aruba Blue + 5 Segment Spoke 19" PQ6.
Sline - Quartz Grey - 7 Arm Double Spoke 19"
Sline - Lava Grey - 7 Arm Double Spoke 19"

The more I look at this, the more combinations I come up with.
However I am looking for a colour that doesn't show the dirt to much! I do enjoy having a clean car, but I don't always have the time to spend cleaning the way I used to.
I last few Audis and VW I have had in order are:
    Meteor Grey B8
    Avis Silver A3 sportback
    Quartz Grey B7
    Mauritius Blue A3
    Reflex Silver GTI Aniv.

    Please help!

    Ham

I can vouch for Quartz hiding the dirt well. Pics of my quartz avant with double 7 19"s - https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...d.php?t=105384 - that's one combo on your list.

Are you looking for a saloon or avant btw? Duh - the title is a giveaway!
Finally on the drive: S4 Avant S Tronic, Quartz Grey, toys

    OkBig Bird

Red is on the list I just didn't quote it, In the Balck Edition it will be an even better contrast IMHO. I tend to think larger cars don't suit as much but the A4 is an exeption. Misano Red is a good red, if that makes any sense????

    Soooooo many options!

Lava Grey is a fanyastic colour.

It isn't bad at hiding dirt, although the rear tailgate does get filthy, mine has the seven arm alloys which look good when clean, and match the paint after the are blackened by the brake dust so look like they are anthracite from a distance

My personal thoughts (my excuse is I'm colour blind!)

Monza - really nice but often looks just like "another" silver
White - looks good but I couldn't run a white car and doesn't float my boat
    Aruba - see below
Quartz - I really like quartz ... in the right light
Lava - bling on sunny days and dark/black on dull days. It's a nice black ... if you're after black. I swore years ago never to have another black car as in summer it really gets a lot hotter, it shows all the flies etc and in winter you simply can't keep it clean.

So Aruba - the sun and light conditions don't affect it too much. I too had a meteor coloured car and that changed massively.

Aruba's great although if does seem to be getting more popular so best you choose something else
MY2010 A4 Avant 2.0 TFSI quattro S-line Exec - Aruba Blue, 19" alloys, Full Leather, B & O, 3G Tech Pack, Adaptive Lights, Dynamic Susp, Folding Mirrors, Power tailgate, Storage/Light Packs, Parking Plus, Heated Seats, Rear Blinds, Load Rails, Privacy Glass, Rear Airbags, TPMS, Load Liner

    Gone : 09 A4 Avant, B6 S4, TT, Golf GTi...and the rest are embarassing!

    Evening All.

Thank you all for your comments and pictures.
    Special mentions to

Pitch- How do you get a shine like that ???....... Do you spend every spare moment cleaning the B8 to get some peace and quiet from Mrs Pitch

Big Bird- Red is now definately on the list.

Scotty - I will maintain Aruba as an option.

Dan172 - I do not do white, purely for cleaning reasons, but if I did I would have one to a similar spec to yours.

In the mean time I'm going to keep the Meteor Grey Saloon. I had tries to see if there were any TDi S line SE Q due into the country before the VAT hike but alas, I waited to long

Lava for you Ham....its just a great colour and drying off with Clearkote quickshine brings out the sparkly flecks.

Lady Pitch only moans when the A4 gets done and the ED30 gets left......bless
