Well if you want to stay away from colours that dont show the dirt Black and Lava are out before you start. I have Lava and it may as well be black the way it shows the dirt after one day.

Having numerous silver cars I find Lava easier to keep as you do not see the dirt as clearly as on a lighter car. I agree that it starts to get dirty quickly but it seems to last longer (and look better) between washes. Still an excellent colour and no regrets a year on...it is like having black but with depth and substance!

    Go Sportwag..........

    Agree totally with the above.
Having had P/black, Lava looks deeper and carries the dirty look very well.

Regrets......none what so ever, I have not seen another colour to tempt me.

    Hello!

I decided for Lava Grey at first, but after a while, I took Quartz Grey. When I look closely A4 Avant in Lava Grey it seems to me, that the car is dirty although it's clean. It's like a black covered with a thin layer of dust. OK, it's just a personal opinion.
After a few moths I have to say that I'm extremely satisfied with the Quartz Grey colour and I think that I made a good choice. The car looks clean even if it's not. The car looks very elegant as well. Better colour is from my point of view perhaps Daytona Grey, but it costs more, of course.
Anyway, colour is very personal thing, but for me the Qartz Grey for A4 Avant is cool indeed.

While my lava does show the dirt it looks great when its clean so at least washing it every week is rewarding. I am very pleased with the car and the colour no regrets.

I'm totally with you on that. I was looking at a motorbike which was metallic black and it just gave exactly that effect.

    Evening All

I have changed my mind and decided to keep my not so shabby meteor grey A4.

However I have take the plundge and ordered my mid life crisis.... an RS3!
My dealer has yet to confirm the order but fingers crossed.

Now I have to find a second job, sell a kidney (probably need to sell 2 to pay for it), remorgage the house etc etc.

Also do you guys know anything about multi car insurance policies??
